GREENSBURG, Ind. —
Investigators said the remains of four people were found where a plane crashed Sunday night in southeastern Indiana. Their identities have not been released.
The Federal Aviation Administration in Indianapolis said it lost radar contact with the plane shortly before 6:30 p.m. Sunday and notified the Emergency Management Agency and the Greensburg Police Department. About that time a civilian had placed an emergency call to the Decatur County Sheriff’s Department reporting a plane crash.
Members of the National Transportation Safety Board were expected to arrive at the southeastern Indiana crash site Monday. The plane was discovered on uneven terrain, officials said.
