The couple had been the subject of a nationwide search. Georgia Bureau of Investigation Assistant Special Agent Craig Rotter said the woman’s body was sent to the GBI lab in Macon for processing and determining positive identification. Samuel K. “Sammy” Littleton, 37, of Ohio is the suspect in the Russells’ disappearance. After his arrest in Princeton, W.Va., Littleton told West Virginia authorities he left one of the bodies in a cotton field, the other along a train track in Lowndes County.
