WHAT: National American Veterans Motorcycle Club Ride

WHEN: Saturday at 2:45 p.m.

WHERE: Claremore Conference Center to Blue Whale back to Claremore Veterans Center

COST: Free

Event Highlights:

1. More than 400 motorcyclists from across the country will be riding on Route 66 through Claremore to bring awareness to veterans and their sacrifice. The organization represents members who have honorably served or are still actively serving, in-country or abroad, from all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces.

2. Supporters are encouraged to line the highways and roadways during a public ride to show support for veterans. Supporters can bring flags and signs to welcome the veterans. This is the first time in seven years the national club has held the ride in Oklahoma.

3. The ride will stop at the Claremore Veterans Center. For those looking to support monetarily, donations can be made to the center in-person at 3001 W. Blue Starr Dr.

Why attend:

Over 800 visitors from across the country are expected to be in the Claremore area Saturday for this national event. Help the city welcome the veterans and show support for their sacrifices for America's freedom.
